Last call for supplies!  The 4th to 8th grade youth group will be assembling the donated supplies THIS Sunday after church!  You are welcome to stay and assist them.   These hygiene and school kits will be donated to Church World Service and will be sent to areas in the US during disasters and also to Africa and the Middle East.   Listed below you will see the specific items that we need to make these kits.  Church World Service also requires a $2.00 processing fee to be sent with each kit so that it may reach the intended destination.   Please help us with this worthy service project by bringing the items to church and/or donating a cash sum to help with our goal.  Thank you!  The list of items needed is at the end of this email.

Schedule:   2 p.m. Yom Hashoah Service featuring Cantor Deborah Marlowe followed by a 2:30 p.m. screening of "La Rafle".  This event is free and open to the public, refreshments are provided.  Musical Guest is Cinder Conk.
From The Guardian, UK -
A harrowing drama following the events of the Nazi-decreed raid through the eyes of a group of young children, La Rafle has been hailed as an important step in France's acknowledgment
of its complicity in the crimes of the Occupation.
Its central character is Joseph Weismann, now 80, and one of the 4,051 children taken during the raids. Unlike almost all his compatriots, however, the 11-year-old managed to escape.
The director, Rose Bosch, whose husband's family were Jews in the same Parisian neighbourhood as Weismann, said she felt the film had to be made to shed light on one of the most
sensitive chapters in wartime France. "Because it was so taboo and the story was so untold, I decided to do it," she said.
La Rafle has won audience awards from 15 major Jewish Film Festivals including Los Angeles, Washington, Atlanta, Miami and Seattle
